Sign up for our May service projects before they’re full!

We just sent out the invite yesterday, but our projects are filling up really quickly this month (this is a problem we LOVE to have)! We do have some open spots still. The projects that we need the most volunteers for are:

  • Epilepsy Foundation on May 1 (they REALLY need our help moving)
  • Mary Ryder Home on May 8

The rest are almost full, so if you’re interested, grab your spot now!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

We have three projects coming up on April 24 with some spots left for volunteers. If you’re free that weekend we could really use your help.  As of today, we need volunteers at:

- Holy Trinity: 30 more volunteers needed to paint the school > SIGN UP

- Mason Elementary: 6 more volunteers needed to create garden beds for the students > SIGN UP

- Woodward Elementary: 9 more volunteers needed to rebuild garden beds for students > SIGN UP

Celebrate Earth Day, feel good about your weekend and meet some new friends all in one morning!

Our most physically demanding project ever

Check out photos from Saturday’s project at University City Children’s Center. Volunteers helped UCCC with major playground renovations. They hauled rock, dug ditches and generally worked their butts off. A HUGE THANK YOU to our amazing volunteers for going above and beyond…while carrying really heavy rocks!

Jealous?  Sign up for our other April projects here. They won’t be quite as intense but you will get to help build gardens for kids and paint a school. Pretty cool stuff.

More praise for our volunteers

To our lovely GenNexters who volunteered at Covenant House last Sunday:

Thanks again GenNext for all your help this past weekend.  The staff and kids have noticed how amazing the front is looking and we’re all looking forward to taking the next step toward making our sanctuary garden a reality.  Thanks also to the women who did such a great job organizing our pantry.  We’re grateful for all your efforts!

We are happy to be partnering with such amazing young people.

Sincerely,

Kathleen

New service project, new online registration!

We’ve been asked to help out with a landscaping project at University City Children’s Center THIS Saturday, April 3, from 9 a.m. to noon.  We’ll be moving rocks for them (they’ll explain).

If you’re interested in helping out, sign up using our new online registration system (we hope you like it as much as we do).
