“Thank you” from Catholic Charities
Hello United Way GenNext Volunteers!
I just wanted to express my gratitude again for all of the work you did on Sunday, April 27. We’ve really been working hard this year to provide greater opportunities for our youth groups, and having a lending library will prove to be so useful. Not only will our kids be able to bring home books for fun reading, but they will also have resources to use for homework as well as a means to build reading skills. This is very significant for our youth, especially those who are English Language Learners.
I am also grateful for the help with sanitizing our toys and play areas in the childcare room. When I walked in this morning the kids were well at play. It gave me great confidence knowing they were playing with safe, clean toys. In addition, our listening center is now better organized and the books on tape are ready and waiting for the kids to enjoy.
I cannot thank you enough. The work you all completed in two hours would have taken me weeks to complete. The kids will be so excited once the library opens up, as they are constantly asking to borrow books. Now they will have that opportunity!
Peace and Blessings to you all,
