Coyote Ugly
In week two of GenNext’s Serving a Cause at rBar, Jason “Shot King” Dickerman and Katie “The Governor” McGovern stepped behind the bar to help raise funds for the United Way. The pair had glasses full and patrons minding their own pints and quarts. At the final bell they managed to raise $140 in tips. The twosome served valinatly, but in the end were not able to vanquish the bartending beast that is Mark and Sisi.
After two weeks and four hours, over $500 has been raised on behalf of the United Way. With three weeks to go, this fundraiser may easily break the $1,000 level. But the question remains, can anyone out-serve Mark and Sisi? Will their $400 go down in the annuls of celebrity bartending as the benchmark by which all other charitytenders are judged?
This Friday (May 16) Katy Lachky and Cory Boss hope to dethrone the kings and prove their drink is the best. They are studying their drink recipes and working on their bottle tosses. Plenty of Deloitte and Fleishman-Hillard employees are expected to be on hand on to show their support. Make plans to be at rBar this Friday, because as Cory said, “It’s going to be ridiculous.”
