10 questions with Katy Lachky

Katy Lachky1. Describe your job. Where do you work? What do you do all day? What’s the best part?

I work at Fleishman-Hillard in the marketing-communications group. I get to work some great accounts like Vi-Jon, HOK and Great Wolf Resorts. I specialize in national media, so I pitch a lot of our clients for morning shows, business magazines and things like that. I really like the collaboration at F-H. I work with brilliant people, and you can utilize people from all departments and specialties. Click to learn more

Help bring money back into the hands of those who need it most

United Way is helping again this year to get earned income tax credits into the hands of those who need it most – families with incomes less than $40,000. Through a partnership with the Gateway EITC Community Coalition, we’re offering free tax preparation services.

We’re looking for people to serve as greeters, child care workers and tax preparation assistants for Saturdays in February. If you’re interested in helping, please call Bob Gaffner, executive director of the Gateway EITC Community Coalition, at (314) 707-6512. You can find out more about the program on the United Way Web site.
